Zelensky instructs Cabinet to control fatal car accidents’ investigations

Ukrainian President also pointed out the necessity to include transport safety to immediate priorities of its work

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to control the investigations of fatal car accidents in Odesa and Zhytomyr regions. The Presidential press service reported that.

It was noted in the President’s Office that Zelensky also ordered to take the appropriate measures to prevent the recurrence of such accidents.

"President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expresses his sincere condolences to the relatives and close people of the victims of the fatal car accidents, which happened in last days in Odesa and Zhytomyr regions. The state leader instructed the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to control the accidents investigations as well as obliged the government to take the appropriate measure to prevent the recurrence of such incidents," the message reads.

The President also pointed out the necessity to include transport safety to immediate priorities of its work. 

Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky signed the law No. 113-IX, which issues reformation of the prosecution bodies.
