The Week

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has become one of the heroes of 2019, according to The Week magazine.

From the perspective of The Week reporters, U.S. President Donald Trump and his lawyer Rudolf Giuliani, Speaker of the U.S. Congress Nancy Pelosi, who announced the formal impeachment of the U.S. President, UK’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Chinese Premier Xi Jinping, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg became the heroes of the expiring year.

Zelensky and Trump are snatching a rocket of each other’s hands. It is reported that this is an allusion to a scandal involving two presidents, which has led to the impeachment of the American leader.

Russian President Putin is pictured in a Santa Claus carriage. He, just like other characters on the cover, is on Moscow's Red Square.

As we reported earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky appeared on the cover of Time magazine. This was mentioned on the outlet's website.

"The man in the middle. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on being caught between Putin and Trump", reads the message under the President's photo.
