President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky considers the support of national cinema industry to be one of his priorities. He posted this on his Facebook page.

'Support of Ukrainian cinema production is one of the priority tasks', he wrote.

Zelensky congratulated Ukraine's cinema workers on the occasion of the 100th jubilee of Odesa cinema studio and the opening of the 48th International Festival Molodist.

'We expect cool films, high box-offices and international awards. And, above all - viewers in cinema theaters, the ones who will choose our films - the films made in Ukraine', the president wrote.

He reiterated that until recently, he himself used to belong to the cinema community in Ukraine.
