President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated Ukrainian builders on their professional holiday. The president wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
"Today I am glad to congratulate the builders on their professional holiday. Your work always commands respect and admiration, because its meaning is in creating and developing new high-quality infrastructure in our country," the president noted.
Zelensky is confident that the professionalism and skill of the builders will contribute to the further development of our state.
“This year we launched a large-scale Big Construction national program. This is not only thousands of kilometers of roads but also new schools, kindergartens, emergency departments, medical outpatient clinics, and modern sports complexes. The project will continue in the coming years, we will begin reconstruction and restoration of architecture, we will continue to build roads and other infrastructure facilities. We are building Ukraine together - this is not only ambition or a dream, this is an action plan. We are building every day, despite the fact that this work is sometimes difficult. And we believe in the success of Ukraine,” the president added.
Builder's Day in Ukraine is celebrated on the second Sunday in August. This year the holiday fell on August 9.
