President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky claimed that the peak of the coronavirus epidemic in this country is not there yet. The crucial period is to begin in the second decade of April. He said so during his address broadcasted by 112 Ukraine TV channel.

Analyzing the statistics of those who got sick in Ukraine, one can observe certain stabilization [of the situation]. There was no rapid jump, thanks in particular to the consciousness of citizens who live up to self-isolation. And this should continue. We've got to be clear conscious about this: it is too soon to get relaxed. It is dangerous to relax. If Italy and Spain already passed or still recover after the peak of the epidemic, we've still got the major and defining period up ahead. This is the second decade of April", the President said.

The Ukrainian leader has once again reiterated that Ukrainians should stay home on Easter. He noted that almost 90 percent of citizens plan to stay home on Easter.

"I'm sure you know about the situation in Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. Currently, there are almost a hundred of those who got sick; and, unfortunately, there are two lethal cases. We wish all the sick a speedy recovery. But that kind of situation shows that coronavirus does not care about your nationality, sex or what kind of religion you belong to. It shows that one shouldn't be taking the disease carelessly", he said.
