Zaporizhya and Poltava regions are about to leave the red quarantine zone and enter the yellow one, as the epidemiological background in these areas improved a bit. Oleg Nemchynov, Minister of the Cabinet reported that on his Telegram channel.
According to the official, a snap meeting of the State Committee for Environmental Safety and Emergencies took place on Thursday. The authoroty decided that the mentioned regions should introduce the yellow-zone epidemic restrictions.
Over the last 24 hours, 6,038 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Ukraine. Most of these were observed in Kyiv city (622), Donetsk (599), Kharkiv (544), Dnipropetrovsk (543) and Rivne (403) regions.
The Covid-certificates, which include the data on vaccination of patients are supposed to be launched in Ukraine by July 1. Maksym Stepanov, the Healthcare Minister said so as quoted by the authority's press office.
The Ministry claims that the document is being developed in line with the requirements of the European Commission and the WHO. The data will be submitted via the digital system of healthcare, and the certificate itself can be received at a doctor's office or generated in the mobile app or Diya web portal.
Prior to the introduction of Covid-passports, Ukrainians who received both doses of the vaccine can get the hard copy of international certificate on vaccination - whenever requested. The Ministry stated this document is now valid.
