The Armenian leader Serzh Sargsyan for the first time in five days commented on the attack of the radical opposition on the police station in Yerevan that resulted in 51 injured including 28 police officers.
According to nv.ua, he urged the attackers to release the hostages and lay down their arms.
"Further decoupling will happen in strict compliance with the Constitution of Armenia and laws. All attempts of personal revenge will be stopped by the force of law. Our country is going through a difficult and critical days. Now I will not refer to the cause. Now is not the time. Let me just say that we all need to learn the lesson from this problem", said Sargsyan.
