Yanukovych’s deprived apartment put up for rent, - Asset Recovery and Management Agency

The seized apartment of the ex-president of Viktor Yanukovych, which is located on the Obolon embankment in Kyiv, has been put up for rent. Anton Yanchuk, the director of the National Agency of Ukraine for finding, tracing and management of assets deprived from corruption and other crimes (ARMA), Ukrainian news reports.

The apartment was put up for rent and insured”, - the report said.

According to the report, Yanchuk has not mentioned the price and the name of the renter yet.

Earlier, the court passed the rights of the Mezhyhirya residence to ARMA. Buildings of the residence, one piece of land of 1.7 hectares and the authorized capital of the company "Tantalite", which owns most of the property. Also, the agency received Yanukovych's apartment on the Obolon embankment.

ARMA announced the contest on managing the Mezhyhirya residence in November, 2018. Such decision was taken, because they do not have the authority to spend state budget on maintaining the assets.
