The conditions of Odesa-based civil activist Oleg Mykhailyk get better; previously, the man suffered a gunshot wound to the chest.
'Yes, our current task is to help him recover. He's on his own feet already, standing, walking his first steps. The condition is not critical anymore', Yevhen Hryhoriev, the chief medical officer of Odesa clinical hospital told this to Hromadske.
As of Tuesday noon, the man stays at a hospital. He has his own security for the time being. The doctors insist that there's no need in taking the bullet out of his body right now; such procedures are only performed two-three months after the wounded person's condition gets stable.
Mykhailyk was wounded in the shooting incident that took place in Odesa on September 22. Soon after that, about a hundred people took it to the street, demanding to sack the local police leaders for incompetence.
The investigation into the murder attempt is underway.
