In Lublin, Poland, the world's first drug for coronavirus infection, which was created on the plasma of patients who recovered from the disease, was presented, as Polish Radio reports.

According to representatives of the Biomed Lublin company, the drug was created on the basis of the plasma of recovered people and contains antibodies that neutralize the coronavirus.

The process of pouring the first batch of the drug has now been completed, now it must undergo a clinical trial.  Earlier, the effectiveness of the tool was studied in the laboratory of Professor Krzysztof Pirc from the Małopolska Center for Biotechnology in Krakow.

Clinical trials will be carried out, inter alia, by doctors in Lublin, Bytom, Bialystok, and Warsaw.  Work on the creation of drugs has continued since March.  It is likely that in a few months Poland will be the first in the world to receive an effective drug that "neutralizes the virus".

As we reported before, the doctors from Ternopil showed medical images with lesions in the lungs of the patients as a result of the affection with the coronavirus.
