The workers of the Ukrainian Bureau of the Interpol and Europol in Kyiv headed the criminal group, kidnapped a man and stole his money. They are served charges as the press service of the Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv reported at Facebook.
According to the information, the group of people kidnapped a citizen of Kyiv in March 2017. They handcuffed him, beaten him up and take him to the forest where the forced the man to give all money, more than 3 700 dollars.
The suspects are 26-years old worker of the Ukrainian Bureau of the Interpol and Europol in Kyiv and his 28-years old accomplice.
'The suspected where served charges under part 2, article 146 (illegal deprivation of liberty or kidnapping), part 2, article 186 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine on November 1. They witnessed and pleaded guilty to the incriminated crimes. One of the suspects is put under the house arrest by the Pechersk district court. The consideration of the pretrial restriction of the second suspect continues', the Prosecutor's Office noted.
At the moment the pretrial investigation takes place and the measures on the establishment of other partakers of the crime continue.
