An elderly woman froze to death in St.Petersburg at a bus stop on June 2. This was reported by a source in medical circles of the city, writes Interfax-Ukraine.
A woman (apparently 70-75 years old) was hospitalized from a public transport stop on Zanevsky Avenue in early morning.
"Doctors of the Aleksandrovskaya hospital diagnosed a severe hypothermia," the source said.
The woman died in the hospital.
As previously reported, the hurricane took the lives of 16 people in Moscow and the Moscow region, more than 100 people hospitalized. In addition, several thousand trees were felled and more than 140 multi-storey residential buildings and administrative buildings were damaged.
