The low-cost Wizz Air Company announced new flights from Kyiv to Lublin and Poznan that will start to work on August 25. The number of flights from Kyiv Airporty Zhulyany to Republic of Poland will increase from four to six as CTS reported.
The flights to both cities will take place on Mondays and Fridays. The ticket to Lublin will cost 16.6 dollars and to Poznan 22.3 dollars.
The Lublin Airport expects the significant increasing of the passenger flow due to the work of the new flights. The Director of the airport Krzysztof Wojtowicz claimed that he finds the start of the flights to Kyiv to be the cause for gladness because Lublin is the second aim of travelling for people after Warsaw and there is the important university center for the student from Ukraine. Also, it is the only place of transit and people transfer to other cities of Poland exactly from Lublin.
At the moment, Wizz Air provides the flights from Kyiv to Warsaw, Wroclaw, Gdansk and Katowice. Moreover, the company came back to Lviv Airport this year.
Also, Wizz Air cancelled the payment for the hand luggage at flights that will take place since October 29, 2017.
