Low-cost company Wizz Air has announced the opening of the new routes from Kyiv to two Greek cities, Athens and Thessaloniki, as the company reported.
Thus, the flight Kyiv-Athens will be opened on May 21. It will depart twice a week, on Tuesday and Saturday. The flight Kyiv- Thessaloniki will be opened on May 20 and it will also depart twice a week on Monday and Friday.
The company also reported that Wizz Air transported over 1,5 million passengers from and to Ukraine in 2018.
Earlier, we reported that Serbian national airline Air Serbia would start implementing direct regular flights in seven new directions, including Kyiv.
Ukraine's city of Kharkiv and London are now linked via the direct international connection between the airports, according to the decision of Wizz Air.
Besides, Wizz Air company opened the direct flight from Kyiv to Vienna.
