The 72nd Berlinale Film Festival announced the winners. Due to the pandemic, the festival was held online. In June, the second stage of the review will be held for spectators as well as a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners.
According to the website of the festival, the Golden Bear for Best Film goes to "Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn" (Babardeală cu bucluc sau porno balamuc), directed by Radu Jude and produced by Ada Solomon.

Ukrainian delegation worked at Berlinale European Film Market. Four Ukrainian films were screened during this edition of the European Film Market. Stop-Zemlia by Kateryna Hornostai is also on the contest program of Berlinale Generation 14+.
This year's jury award went to Maria Speth's film "Mr Bachmann and His Class."
The Silver Bear Grand Jury Prize of the festival was awarded to the film "Wheels of Fortune and Fantasy" by Japanese director Ryusuke Hamaguchi.
As for Silver Bears, the prize for directing was awarded to Denes Nagy for the drama about the World War II "Natural Light". The award for best screenplay was given to the black-and-white film "Introduction" by South Korean director Hong San-soo.
The award for Best Leading Performance went to Maren Eggert ("I'm Your Man"), and for Best Supporting Role - Lilla Kizlinger ("Forest - I see you everywhere", Forest - I See You Everywhere).
