A passenger of flight 4406 Antalya-Kyiv UR-CPR, which got involved in an incident at Zhuliany airport in Kyiv on June 14 shared some details of the incident with 112 Ukraine TV channel. According to Yulia, before the plane landed, its wing caught fire and the wheels fell off.

'Before the landing, the guys who sat next to the wing saw some smoke. The aircraft was shaking badly, due to the high speed before the landing. Everybody tried to stick to their seats; I, for one, held tight to my neighbor's chair. We started to land, already knowing we had a wing or a turbine on fire. We taxied outside the landing strip and started to drive sidewards. The wing started to hit the ground, the wheels fell off. And then there was a strong and acrid smoke', Yulia said.

The passenger said that the people received no assistance either from the crew nor from the airport administration. 'We immediately ran to stewards who told us it was OK. We managed to latch the door next to their cabin and started leaving the aircraft. There was no organized evacuation - we did all by ourselves. No oxygen masks, no life vests. When we latched the door, they told us to run wherever we could,' she said.

An incident occurred at Zhuliany airport in Kyiv on Thursday evening - due to the tough weather conditions, with heavy rain and a thunderstorm over the Ukrainian capital.

Bravo air company's passenger plane performed an emergency landing. According to the airport's press service, the aircraft landed successfully but taxied outside the landing strip.

'On June 14 (8.40 p.m.), the Bravo air company aircraft, flight number 4406 Antalya-Kyiv UR-CPR landed and taxied outside the landing strip. 169 passengers were aboard the plane; no one suffered on the incident. All passengers were evacuated to the terminal, now they are in the arrivals hall', the message said.
