In particular, the airline will conduct flights from Kyiv to Sofia and from Kyiv to Burgas.
From August 1 to 17, Ukrainian tourists will be able to fly from Kyiv to Bulgaria's capital on Saturdays. From September 1, additional flights will be launched on Fridays, from September 7 - even on Mondays.
From August 7, the company will open flights to Burgas.
As we reported earlier, Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) will reduce 900 employees due to the coronavirus pandemic.
"The company's downtime and a significant reduction in the volume of the airline's work after the resumption of flights lead to a forced gradual reduction of about 900 UIA employees," UIA spokesman Dmytro Doshyn said.
It was also noted that one month of downtime cost the airline 14.5 million dollars. As a result, the company has already suffered losses of 60 million dollars.
