The World Health Organization (WHO) does not recommend evacuating foreign citizens due to the massive spread of the coronavirus, Xinhuanet agency reports.

"We have noted that some countries have expressed their desire to withdraw citizens of China, and WHO does not advocate this. In the current situation, we should remain calm and there is no need to overreact. WHO is confident in the Chinese government's ability to prevent and control the epidemic," the statement said.

WTO also expressed gratitude and affirmation of measures taken by the Chinese government in order to stop the spread of the epidemic.

As we reported earlier, Ukraine would issue a daily newsletter on the situation with the spread of coronavirus from China. This was reported by the press service of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), following the meeting of the task group on monitoring and analysis of the situation regarding the spread of the new coronavirus, which was held on Monday, January 27, by head of the Council Oleksiy Danilov.

During the meeting, Danilov, in particular, emphasized the priority of fulfilling the task of enhanced control over the situation in terms of the possibility of spread and the coordinated work of all authorities in organizing specific measures.
