As we reported earlier, according to Natalya Ivanchenko, the director of Lviv regional lab centre, the WHO has observed five various mutations of Covid-19 in Ukraine.

According to her, one of the detected strains observed in Lviv region is 1.1 virus, which originally comes from China. On the other hand, there are no traces of the "British" strain that is considered extremely contagious.

It is also reported that the Ukrainian experts will keep sending samples to the WHO reference lab so as to find out what actual genetic connections took place.

Meanwhile, the WHO experts arrived in Wuhan in order to study the origins of the virus.
