In Ukraine, more than 600 deaths per day

In Ukraine, 15 936 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected per day, another 608 people died, 3208 people were hospitalized, and 24 569 recovered.

The largest number of cases was registered in Kyiv (1438), Zaporizhya (1075), Dnipropetrovsk (1022), Donetsk (970) and Poltava (953) regions.

In Ukraine, the "yellow" zone has increased: there are now Chernivtsi and Ternopil regions.

More than 42% of the adult population of Ukraine received the first dose

According to WHO recommendations, the rate of vaccinated people in the world by the end of the year should be 40%. So, yesterday, November 25, 273 875 people were vaccinated in the country. Of these, 81,516 people received one dose of the vaccine, and 192,359 were fully immunized.

Homeless people are vaccinated in Lviv

Emergency meeting of WHO due to new strain of Covid-19

The World Health Organization (WHO) has scheduled a special meeting on Friday to discuss a new coronavirus strain with 32 spike protein mutations.

The concern is associated with a variety of mutations that can affect the behavior of the virus. The Working Party will decide whether B.1.1.529 becomes an option of interest or is classified as a matter of concern.

The EMA has approved the use of Pfizer to vaccinate children 5-11 years of age. The vaccine dose will be lower than for children 12 years of age and older (10 mcg versus 30 mcg). As with others, the vaccine will be given in the shoulder girdle muscles and will consist of two doses three weeks apart.
