By the end of this year or in early 2022, WHO expects new vaccines from coronavirus to appear. These drugs will not be injected, and they can be stored in the indoor temperature. Voice of America wrote this citing Soumya Swaminathan, the leading research fellow of the WHO.
"We're amazed about the vaccines we've got. I guess in 2022 we'll see the development of improved vaccines", the official said.
Currently, 80 prototypes of vaccines from coronavirus are undergoing trials, she added. The new way of hosting the vaccine could be more suitable for certain people such as pregnant women.
Swaminathan expects that clinical trials of six to eight prototypes will be over by the end of 2021.
Earlier, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal has registered at the Verkhovna Rada bill #5247 that lifts any responsibility for consequences from producers of the vaccine against Covid-19, medical workers and everyone involved in the vaccination campaign.
Previously, chief sanitary doctor of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko stated that Ukrainians will not be able to choose between CoviShield and Pfizer vaccines. According to him, when a particular vaccine is delivered to Ukraine, managers, and experts will determine how to use the drug as efficiently as possible.
