The World Health Organization (WHO) intends to analyze information about clinical trials of the Russian vaccine against coronavirus, which production was announced by Russia’s President Vladimir President, as RBK report.
The organization noted that the clinical trials of the vaccine should be held in accordance with the determined procedures at each stage of development to guarantee and efficiency of the medicines that enter the production.
“The WHO maintains contacts with the Russian scientists and authorities of the country and expects the possibility to analyze information about the clinical trials of the vaccine,” the message said.
On August 11, President of Russia Vladimir Putin reported that the first vaccine against coronavirus was registered in Russia.
It is noted that the vaccine would be produced by N. F. Gamaleya Federal Research Center for Epidemiology & Microbiology and Russian Binnopharm Company. According to Murashko, finalizing takes place of the technical regulations for scaling of production at the number of Russian productions.
As of the end of July, 139 vaccines were at the stage of preclinical trials, while 25 are tested clinically and six of them maximally approached to the practical application and stay on the third stage of trials.
