The World Health Organization (WHO) does not support the initiative on the introduction of the vaccination passports for entrance and departure from the country for the nonce as Reuters reported.

The organization explained that it is unknown yet whether or not the vaccine prevents the spread of the coronavirus. Currently, the WHO expects the reconsideration of Chinese Sinopharm and Sinovac vaccines toward their possible use until the end of April.

As we reported, the WHO stated that the governments don't need to introduce Covid-19 vaccination passports.

However, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen stated that the EU governments must immediately begin technical work to ensure a Covid-19 vaccination certificate system can be introduced across the 27-member bloc by summer.

On March 29, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky stated the necessity to introduce in Ukraine the vaccination passports.
