The World Health Organization expects the coronavirus pandemic to end in less than two years. The director general of the organization Tedros Adan Ghebreyesus stated this during a briefing.

The WHO also believes that with large connections, the virus spreads faster, but there are technologies in the world to stop it.

“We have a disadvantage in the form of globalization and greater interconnection, but we also have an advantage in technology. So we hope to end this pandemic in less than two years,” Ghebreyesus said.

The World Health Organization declared the outbreak of coronavirus a pandemic on March 11 this year.

As we reported before, in Ukraine, over the past day, 2,328 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 102,971 people got sick; 2,244 (+37 per day) people died, and 51,735 (+657) recovered.

If the situation with the spread of coronavirus in Ukraine continues to deteriorate, the hospitals will admit only patients in severe condition.
