Residents of Lysychansk (Luhansk region) have the water supply system back online - after it was shut down several days ago. The press service of Luhansk regional state administration reported this on Facebook.

The regional committee for environmental safety recommended to launch the water supply system - three days after the 'Luhansk Energy Union' enterprise cut nine water infrastructure objects off the grid for debts.

Previously, the local authorities reported that The water supply mechanism in Avdiivka, Donetsk region is fully restored. According to the State Emergency Service, the water reservoir is now being filled. The water supplies were resumed at 3 p.m. Sunday.

On April 17, the convoy of cars of Donetsk filtering station workers took fire, with five workers sustaining combat wounds. The day after that, the station ceased to work, which resulted in the shutdown of the water supplies in the area. The Ukrainian side claimed the attack was launched by the Russian militants holding the area under control.
