Water level in Ukraine's rivers to rise because of weather conditions

Ukraine's meteorologists warn citizens of the upcoming worsening of weather conditions. The water levels in the country's rivers will rise, too. The press office of Ukraine's State Emergency Service reported that on November 6. 

"According to Ukraine's HydroMetCentre, wind gusts are expected in Ukraine, with the speed of up to 15-20 meters per second. Heavy rains are expected in Subcarpathian and Transcarpathian regions", reads the message.

Strong wind gusts will be observed in Kyiv and Kyiv region, too.

The water levels in various rivers in western Ukraine will rise by various amounts - from 0.3 to 1.5 meters. The most tangible growth of water level will be observed in Zakarpattya region. No major floods are expected.
