In Ukraine, about 20 million people from various risk groups will be vaccinated against coronavirus. It is planned to vaccinate them at the expense of the budget. This was stated by the Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov.
"All risk categories (vulnerable populations) include about 20 million people. We believe that they need to be vaccinated and this should be done at the expense of the state budget. These are people over 60 years old, people with concomitant diseases, these are all categories based on occupational characteristics. They need to be vaccinated at the expense of the budget and we believe it will be right," Stepanov said.
Also, Ukraine expects to get the vaccines against coronavirus infection developed by world produces at the end of the first or beginning of the second quarter of 2021.
