The Health Ministry also intends to offer the extension of the access to the vaccines for teenagers at the age of 12 up to 17. In case of the adoption, this decision will be beyond the current recommendation of the Permanent Committee on vaccination of Germany on vaccination of underage only under particular conditions.

Totally, 62% of German adults have at least one dose of the vaccine; while 52% are fully vaccinated.

Earlier, Ukraine’s Healthcare Minister Viktor Lyashko stated that Ukrainians will be inoculated with the third dose of Pfizer vaccine, as long as the WHO provides respective recommendations.
