Criminal proceedings upon beating of volunteer were retrained in connection with victim’s death

In Bakhmut, Donetsk region, after a brutal beating, 38-year-old volunteer and activist Artem Miroshnichenko died. The press service Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reports.

“Criminal proceedings on the fact of beating a volunteer in Bakhmut have been re-qualified in connection with the death of the victim,” - it was informed.

Also, the death of Artem Miroshnichenko was reported by his brother Serhiy on his Facebook page.

The police incriminate the suspect with a deliberate grievous injury resulting in death.

A resonant crime occurred in Bakhmut on November 29: a local volunteer received serious injuries as a result of an attack by unknown people.

The next day, police detained a defendant born in 2003. The identity of his friend, who at the time of the crime was nearby, was also established.

As we reported, Ukrainian journalist of News-N website Oleksander Vlashchenko was attacked in Mykolaiv on November 30 at around 22:30.
