On February 8, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will pay an official visit to the Vatican, where he will meet with Pope Francis. The website of the President’s office reports.

"The program of the visit provides for an audience of the Head of State with His Holiness Pope Francis," - the statement said.

The President will also meet with the Secretary of State of the Holy See, Pietro Parolin, with the participation of Secretary of the Interstate Relations of the Holy See, Paul Richard Gallagher.

On February 7, Zelensky will pay a visit to Italy. During the visit, meetings are scheduled with Italian President Sergio Mattarella and Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte.
