The Health Ministry of Venezuela registered the Russian Sputnik V vaccine within the accelerated procedure as RIA News reported.
“The Russian Direct Investment Fund announces the registration of the Russian vaccine against coronavirus Sputnik V by the Health Ministry of Venezuela,” the message said.
The supplies will be provided through international partners of the Russian Fund in India, China, South Korea and other countries.
“We welcome the decision of the Health Ministry of Venezuela to approve the use of Sputnik V – safe and efficient vaccine that would help to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Sputnik V is an important part of the national vaccine portfolio in the states of Latin America. We expect new partnership on a vaccine with the countries of the region in the next weeks,” Head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund Kirill Dmitriev stated.
As we reported, one of the leading Brazilian pharmaceutical companies - Uniao Quimica – has started the production of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine against coronavirus.
