A large facility will be launched in the Ukrainian capital to vaccinate citizens from coronavirus. Kyiv mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported that during the briefing.
"A big centre for vaccination against Covid-19 will be working on the premises of International Exhibition Centre tomorrow, May 29", Klitschko said.
The official also added that currently, 113,000 citizens already got vaccinated in Kyiv. Most of them are medics, social workers, teachers, Paralympians and low-mobile citizens. These people got shots of the vaccines previously provided by the Healthcare Ministry, namely CoviShield, CoronaVac, Pfizer and AstraZeneca.
The mayor said that on May 25, Kyiv received another batch of CoronaVac vaccine. 20,640 doses will be used for inoculation of Paralympians, law enforcers, workers of resort areas and Kyivites who got on the waiting list via the Diya app.
