U.S. Air Force fighter crashes near Okinawa

The U.S. Forces in Japan reported the loss of a fighter aircraft. F-15 crashed near the coast of Okinawa on Monday morning.

The respective tweet appeared on the account of Kadena Air Base, where the aircraft was stationed. 

The pilot survived, as he bailed out before the crash. The rescue team found him; however, no information is revealed regarding his health conditions. 

The incident occurred during a training flight.

Recently, the relatives of the victims of the MH17 tragedy in Donbas conducted an action neat Russian Embassy in the Hague. “Red roses were placed on 298 white chairs in memory of the mainly Dutch passengers and crew of flight MH17. The chairs, placed on a lawn near the embassy, represent 196 Dutch citizens and the others who perished on 17 July 2014,” BBC reported.

On May 18, Boeing 737 plane crashed during the take-off at the José Martí International Airport in Cuba. 104 passengers were on board when the crash happened. The death toll made 110 people, 11 of them foreigners. Boeing 737 crashed at a take-off performing a domestic flight from Guyana to Holguín.
