The unique painting by the street artist Banksy was stolen from the Bataclan Concert Hall in Paris (France). This is stated in a message posted on the Concert Hall’s Facebook page.
“Today, we are in deep indignation. Banksy’s work, a symbol of reflection, which belonged to everyone: visitors, Parisians, citizens of the world, was stolen,” it says.
We are talking about the painting that was created by the artist on the emergency exit door in the concert hall in memory of the terrorist attack that occurred in this hall on November 13, 2015.
According to the information of the LCI channel, in order to steal the painting, the thieves had to cut out a picture and take it away in a truck.
They were spotted on surveillance cameras.
At the moment, law enforcement officers are looking for two men, a criminal case has been opened on the fact of burglary.
The stolen picture was created at the end of June 2018. Banksy depicted white silhouette in a robe, which bowed its head in a mournful gesture.
130 people were killed as a result of the terrorist attack in the Paris concert hall on November 13, 2015.
