In spring 2022, Ukraine is going to have the Unified register of firearms up and running. Denys Monastyrsky, the Interior Minister said so at the International Forum for Kleptocracy and Illegal Financial Flows. Press centre of Ukraine's Interior Ministry reported that on Thursday.
"In the beginning of the next year, we will present the Unified register of firearms, which will also help us beat the corruption factor. There were many corrections in this area. In March and April, the register will work in full-fledged mode", the Minister said.
He also added that the Ministry has been quickly adopting digital technologies. ID cards and driver licenses that are displayed in the Diya app let people use e-services with no problem and free of corruption. Queue places may be gained online.
The only trouble so far is that people can't get the police clearance. However, these inconveniences within two-three weeks are to be removed, too.
