UNICEF sent humanitarian aid to Donbas, the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reports. Humanitarian aid arrived to the residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions yesterday, September 25, through the Novotroitske checkpoint.
It is worth noting that the fund provided medicaments and water supply equipment. The weight of total humanitarian aid is almost nine tons. All cargo was transported in four trucks.
As we reported earlier, humanitarian aid for the sum of nearly 9,6 thousand dollars has been transferred to the military hospital in Mariupol. The humanitarian aid took place within the framework of the humanitarian project Helping the East. The hospital was provided with functional beds, orthopedic mattresses, bedside tables, food tables, chairs, medical clothing, surgical masks, and gloves.
On August 8, the International Committee of the Red Cross sent Donbas residents 13 vans with humanitarian assistance aboard, which was reported by the press office of Ukraine's State Border Guard.
The convoy followed to the invader-controlled territory through the checkpoint of Novotroitske, Donetsk region.
The local residents were able to get food supplies and medicine, as well as construction materials.
