Undeclared medicines costing $9,000 attempted to be imported from Poland to Ukraine

Undeclared medicines amounting to $8.8 thousand were tried to be imported from Poland to Ukraine through Yahodyn checkpoint, reports the press office of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine 

‘Yesterday, at the Yahodyn-auto checkpoint, the border officers, together with the members of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, found 368 packs of different medicines in the Warsaw – Kyiv bus. It was found out that the medicines were undeclared, and their preliminary price was 250 thousand hryvnias,’ reads the message.

The medicine packs were revealed in the sleeping area, the trunk and the fridge of the shuttle bus. 

Reportedly, medicines in the amount of $212 thousand were seized in Lviv region one year ago. The illegal production was organized by the Candidate of Biological Sciences and his assistant.
