The Crimean occupation authorities continue to intimidate disloyal Crimean Tatars. This was stated by deputy head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Ilmi Umerov on "112 Ukraine" TV Channel.

"When after the concert of Crimean Tatar performers, participants returned home, they were almost all detained at the checkpoint for several hours" - Umerov said.

Also yesterday, the Crimean Tatar Vadim Siruk was accused of involvement in the activities of the organization "Hizb-ut-Tahrir" and sent to a forced psychiatric examination.

"Article of Criminal code, on which he was accused, does not provide compulsory psychiatric examination, and we attribute this to the actions of intimidation. Examinations are held in appalling conditions."

Vadim Siruk is accused on the case of "Hizb ut-Tahrir", which involves also Refat Aliyev, Arsen Dzhepparov, Emir Usein Cuku, Anvar Bakirov and Muslim Aliyev.
