NASA SpaceApps Challenge hackathon will take place in Kyiv on April 23-23, 2016

Each Ukrainian will get a chance to participate in research projects for NASA. On April 23-24, 2016 Kyiv will host the new NASA SpaceApps Challenge – a hackathon, where Ukrainians will work on up-to-date tasks of space experts.

It’s the first time that Ukraine is going to join NASA SpaceApps Challenge. The hackathon was organized by enthusiasts, supported by donors. “We intend to create a Ukrainian space community in order to promote Ukraine as a competent space power with huge innovation potential”, - stated one of the organizers and mentor of Kyiv NASA SpaceApps Challenge Andriy Bigunov.

Engineers, developers, designers, entrepreneurs, big data analytics, experts and students are welcomed to take part in the project, there are no extraordinary requirement and limitations.

The project challenges for 2016 cover such themes as aeronautics, space stations, space flights to Mars, planet Earth, Solar system and outer space, technologies. The list of challenges is published on NASA SpaceApps Challenge website. Developers will use API to get access to various data of NASA.
