Ukrainians will not be able to choose between CoviShield and Pfizer vaccines. This was announced by the chief sanitary doctor of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko, reports NV.

"There is no need to wait for anything, since there is no right to choose. This is a worldwide practice: a product comes, and it is the managers, together with the experts, who decide how to use this product most effectively," Lyashko said.

According to him, when a particular vaccine is delivered to Ukraine, managers and experts will determine how to use the drug as efficiently as possible.

As of March 13, almost 250 thousand Ukrainians have already signed up for vaccination against coronavirus. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

It is worth noting that Ukraine ranked last among European countries in terms of the number of people who received the Covid-19 vaccine. According to the Our World in Figures project, which systematizes official data coming from the governments of the countries, only 5 vaccinations have been made in Ukraine for every 10 thousand people.
