Ukraine is included in the list of countries whose citizens are entitled to receive a short-term tourist residence permit in Turkey. The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reports that.
"The Turkish side informed about the inclusion of Ukraine in the list of countries whose citizens are entitled to receive short-term tourist residence permits, as well as its readiness to work out the issue of simplifying visa requirements for citizens of Ukraine who are being treated in Turkey. The ministers agreed to step up work on concluding a bilateral agreement on social security," the report said.
Also, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba thanked the Turkish side for the humanitarian assistance provided to counter the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. The heads of the foreign affairs agencies discussed cooperation in the development, production and testing of a vaccine and drugs for this disease.
"The Ukrainian minister noted the efforts of the Turkish side to guarantee the safety of foreign tourists after the start of the tourist season. He also noted the need to strictly comply with the high requirements imposed in Turkey on hotels that will receive foreign guests, in particular, visitors from Ukraine," Kuleba said.
He also noted that responsible behavior of tourists is the only way to restore the summer vacation that is familiar to everyone.
