Ukrainians will be able to do coronavirus tests for free in private laboratories. This was stated by the Minister of Health of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov.
"It was proposed to amend the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of May 6, 2020 No. 372, additionally allocating budget funds in the amount of $3,6 million to laboratory centers that belong to the Ministry of Health administration for the purchase of services for laboratory testing of COVID-19 testing by PCR in institutions health, regardless of the form of ownership," the Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov stated before making a decision.
According to him, this act introduces that private laboratories will be involved in the testing process so that it is free for citizens.
Later, the Cabinet of Ministers allocated $3,6 million to laboratory centers for testing.
As we reported before, due to the spread of the coronavirus infection, the weekend quarantine might be introduced in Ukraine as Head of the parliamentary committee on the health of the population and MP from Servant of the People faction Mykhailo Radutsky stated.
