10-15% of Ukrainians returned from Europe during the quarantine. They are waiting for the restoration of the transport traffic between the countries to go to work abroad as 112 Ukraine TV channel reported citing President of Ukrainian Association of Companies on International Recruitment Vasyl Voskobiynyk.
“The majority of the Ukrainian stays there. But even the number of those who returned just waits for the restoration of the interstate transport traffic – buses, trains – to go to work abroad and earn money there,” he said.
Voskobiynyk also stated that some parts of the Ukrainians who remained abroad lost a job and some of them had to change it.
“The EU countries do everything to avoid the consequences of this lockdown and economic crisis, which will take place; they will pour all of it with money. One of the examples: in Poland, it is used to credit 670,000 enterprises and these enterprises will work during a year to get this credit; they do not have to return 75% of this money. In other words, this crisis will be poured out with money. Europe unlike, unfortunately, Ukraine can return to the rates, which were observed before lockdown in three-six months,” he said.
He noted that the Ukrainians are free people and if a person wants to go abroad he/she can do it.
“We cannot restrict people. We do not build Russia here. That is why I am sure that nobody will contain the Ukrainians. The borders are open, if a Ukrainian wants to go to Poland, he/she can do it as he/she has a working visa,” Voskobiynyk said.
He specified that the absence of normal transport traffic is the only reason, which contains the Ukrainians.
As we reported, starting from April 29, Ukrainians have started to get a Polish employment visa by post.
