The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to expand the list of Covid-19 vaccines, after immunization with which you can receive a vaccination certificate. The corresponding decision was made during a government meeting.
According to the decision, the vaccine Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) was included in the list. Now the Covid certificate can be obtained after vaccination with such vaccines: Pfizer, Moderna, CoronaVac, AstraZeneca, Vaxveria (AstraZeneca), CoviShield and Janssen.
However, a certificate of vaccination after the Janssen injection will be available two weeks from the date of vaccination.
Meanwhile, Ukraine's Healthcare Minister Viktor Lyashko claimed that the EU will give Ukraine an advantage among third countries in terms of order of recognition of Covid certificates.
"I announce this: Ukraine is among the first ones in the list of third countries, i.e. non-EU members, to get the access, and the Ukrainian passport will be recognized and used in the EU territory, - just like the European certificate," the Minister said.
According to him, European immunization passports will be recognized in Ukraine, too.
