From June 1, Ukrainian citizens will be able to enter the territory of Bulgaria under the new rules. The press service of the consular section of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Bulgaria reported this on its Facebook page.
According to the new rules, from June 1 to July 31, Ukrainians will be able to enter the territory of Bulgaria with one of the following documents:
- Certificate of completion of the vaccination program against Covid-19 (at least 14 days must elapse after the date of the last dose of the vaccine, and the document must contain personal data, date of vaccination, name and batch number of the vaccine, manufacturer, country and name of the competent authority where registered the drug);
- Certificate of negative PCR test for Covid-19, made not later than 72 hours before crossing the border, or negative result of rapid antigen test made not later than 48 hours before entering the country (the document must contain personal data of the person, data about the laboratory, the date of testing, the specified method of testing and a negative result in Latin);
- Document showing a positive PCR test for coronavirus or rapid antigen test for people who became ill with Covid-19 between 15 and 180 days from the date of the study (with personal data, laboratory data, date of the study, the method prescribed in the Latin and with a positive result).
It is noted that children under 5 are allowed to enter Bulgaria without providing the above documents.
Persons in transit through Bulgaria who can guarantee immediate departure are not required to provide a vaccination certificate, a negative PCR test or a positive antigen test.
As it was reported earlier, the European Union has already created the necessary right conditions for a “safe reopening” of tourism in the summer.
