The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine recommends the citizens of Ukraine to refrain from the travels to Kyrgyzstan due to the protests and clashes with the law enforcers in the country as the ministry reported.
“Due to the protests that take place in the Kyrgyz Republic and aggravation of the situation with safety amid the clashes between the protesters and law enforcers, the Foreign Ministry recommends the citizens of Ukraine to temporarily refrain from the travels to Kyrgyzstan until the stabilization of the situation,” the message said.
Ukrainians, who stay Kyrgyzstan, are recommended to be attentive and careful, avoid the crowded places, do not participate in the displays and protests, do not get into an argument with locals, follow news and recommendations of the local authorities.
In case of entering the emergency, they are recommended to call to hotline of Ukraine’s Embassy in Kyrgyzstan.
As we reported earlier, on October 5, several thousand protesters gathered at Ala-Too square in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. They detested the results of the parliamentary elections in this country.
The protesters broke through the gates of the White House, the administrative building, where President and the Parliament work. One person deceased, and 590 people were injured in the protests.
Later, it was reported that as a result of protests in Kyrgyzstan, 1,002 victims sought medical help. At the moment, about 1,500 protesters gathered near the Government House in support of Sadir Zhaparov. Protesters call on the parliament (parliament) to speed up his appointment to the post of acting Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan.
