Two Ukrainians from Diamond Princess cruise ship, diagnosed with a new Covid-19 coronavirus, have not yet been tested for recovery. This was reported by the Director of the Consular Service Department of Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Serhii Pohoreltsev, Ukrayinska Pravda reports.
"According to verified and reliable information, citizens of Ukraine, hospitalized with a coronavirus, are in hospitals in Tokyo. They will be discharged after the results of the two tests appear to be negative. At this point, the tests have not been done yet," he said.
As we reported earlier, around 3,700 people from 50 different countries were aboard Diamond Princess cruise liner, which was quarantined off the Japanese coast for 10 days due to the coronavirus outbreak on the ship.
The quarantine ended on February 16. On the next day, about 380 citizens of America left the liner. They were evacuated to the United States Air Force base in California.
The total number of infected at the liner amounted to 454 people.
