Ukrainians, who are expected to be evacuated from Wuhan on February 11, will be quarantined after they arrive in Ukraine. This was stated by Acting Director-General of the Public Health Center of Ukraine’s Health Ministry Ihor Kuzin, UNN reported.

The Ukrainians will be transferred to one of two sanatorium-type establishments, which are going to be converted into temporary observatories.

"These are not healthcare facilities, they are health resorts. After exploring the possibility of redeveloping these facilities into temporary observatories, the final location will be determined. Discussions are underway, some technical guidelines, recommendations on the properties this institution should have, on how the security should be organized, on how certain equipment should be provided have already been developed. Once these establishments are inspected, we will determine the final location,” Kuzin said.

As we reported earlier, Ukraine’s Embassy to China informed about the evacuation of Ukrainian citizens, which is scheduled for February 11.

Due to the quick spread of dangerous coronavirus (2019-nCoV) in the territory of Hubei province, the Government of Ukraine made a decision to evacuate the citizens of Ukraine from the mentioned province, where the quarantine is imposed, to Ukraine,” the message said.
