Ukrainian singer Khrystyna Soloviy has announced the Rosa Ventorum album that will be issued in four volumes. It will be her first album in three years.
On May 28, EP Rosa Ventorum I was released – the first part of the album-quadrilogy in which the singer raises the issue of refusal from imposed expectations and she romanticizes the relations as the fantasy world that protects from everyday routine. The album includes four songs – Vtikala (Escaping), Guby v vyni (Lips in wine), Koala and Krashche movchy (Better don’t speak). Besides, the fans can expect four instrumentals for each song.
The name of the album Rosa Ventorum is translated from Latin as windrose and it symbolizes the traveling and search of the lost way. It depiction includes rays that spread from the center to four sides of the compass points. That is why the album will have four EP parts, each of them will tell about different ways of the heroine.
The singer describes the style of the new album as a melodious fantasy pop with fantastic metaphors and passionate sound that becomes like the meeting of Kate Bush and Arctic Monkeys.
