The Ukrainian spacecraft Sich-2-30 with the Falcon 9 launch vehicle will be launched as part of the Transporter 3 mission on Thursday, January 13. The broadcast of the launch will be available on the SpaceX YouTube channel.

The launch will take place from the SLC-40 launch complex at the US Air Force base at Cape Canaveral at 17:25 Kyiv time.

The satellite Sich-2-30 was developed and assembled by the Ukrainian company "Southern" Design Bureau during 2017-2020. Some components of the satellite were manufactured by companies from Europe and South Korea. Assemblies and final tests took place in 2021. All tests were successful.

As it was reported earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky has set a task to launch Ukrainian satellites in 2022, and a module to Moon in 2024. The concept of the National Targeted Scientific and Technical Space Program of Ukraine for 2021-2025 was approved this year.
